Cask was Wye Valley Butty Bach plus one unused handpump. Keg was Guinness, Neck Oil, Inch's, Worthington CF, SB dark fruits, Moretti, Heineken, Cruz, Carling and Thatchers Gold.

The other pub in the small hamlet of Marshfield, about a 10 min walk between the two venues. This one had a paved area out the front with picnic style benches. There is a large beer garden at the right side of the pub including a gazebo providing some additional covered seating. The entrance is on the left side of the venue and inside it is essentially almost a square with the bar servery occupying a similar shape in the back right hand corner as you look in through the attractively curtained front windows overlooking the patio and the unremarkable road at the front. The room is carpeted apart from a boarded skirt on both sides of the bar counter. There were a few pillars on the left-hand side of the pub and with some screens create some nooks and crannies to drink in a bit secluded from the main floor space. The front of the pub had regular tables and chairs apart from a fabric banquette along the right-hand wall and all the tables in this area were set for diners of which there were a reasonable number still in on my mid-afternoon visit. There were some stools at the bar counter and the area in the back left hand corner had a few regular tables and chairs plus a similar fabric banquette around the rear left-hand wall and this area was more set up for drinkers. The area had a dart board that would require a few tables to be moved to be in play and a TV was tuned into Bloomberg - the elderly here seemingly have a strong interest in the financial markets! Whilst neither pub in Marshfield is particularly noteworthy in isolation, there are worse village combos to take in!
