A proper village local on the outskirts of Sheffield, this is a really nice old fashioned two-roomed boozer. On entering and approaching the bar, our discussion of which of the several beers to choose soon encompassed two or three of the regulars who were sat around. One recommended the Courage Directors, but his friend admonished him, "if you tell everyone to drink it there won't be any left for yourself". (It was good, though.) The other regular beer is Greene King IPA, with guests from the SIBA Finest Cask list.
There's a friendly, welcoming atmosphere with the lively hum of conversation and NO MUSIC! The landlord told us he's been coming in here since he was 18 and has been running it for 20 years. In June this year he deservedly won the local Camra Pub of the Month, and his only regret is that his favourite beer, Phoenix Brewery's Arizona, is not on the list of allowed guests. This one is definitely worth the bus trip from the centre of Sheffield.

The Mount Pleasant is a smallish stone built pub in the woodseats area of Sheffield.
Once inside this pub has got two rooms i went in the smallish bar which was quite a nice room and also busy on my visit.
There were two real ales on here i had a drink of Black Sheep bitter and this was a nice drink the other beer was Stones bitter.
I thought this was quite a nice pub to have a few drinks in.
