Called in as part of a Grenoside crawl, not really expecting any real ale. There was a hand pump on the bar and a Greene King IPA beer mat (a long plastic one for a bar top rather than a small square one for your glass) on a window sill of all places. What was plain to see was the absence of a pump clip, which made our enquiry "any real ale?" somewhat otiose. We didn't hang around to be informed that there's no call for it...
