Old Boots left this review about Old Masons Arms
Large detached pub outwardly in a domestic style of probably the 1950s, a newer building than the New Masons down the road, I’ll bet. Inside it’s one large room, with slightly raised areas to both sides at the front, to the right is a pool table and some chairs and tables seating. Mostly banquette seating throughout and the decor is basically Leeds United. Of course there’s a few screens and machines, no music as the experienced landlady was listening to local radio, there’s a rather cute but standoffish pub dog. Beer choice is limited to a scintillating Guinness, Staropremen, Carling, Coors, Stella, Strongbow or John Smith’s Smooth, with three handpumps serving a reasonable Black Sheep Bitter and “Sharps” Atlantic, nowt on the third it had a board advertising a forthcoming music event leaning on it. It has an open mic night on the last Saturday of the month and I expect it does other stuff as it’s a decent local pub. The only badgering sign I noticed now is on the front door - No hats, caps or hoodies to be worn inside, toilets for customers only no unaccompanied children.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Old Masons Arms
Set back from the road the car park, this is quite an attractive pub with an opened-out interior with a staple-shaped bar in the middle and several additional slightly split-level seating areas in the glazed front extension and to one side. Semi-modern furniture but the decor is a bit more traditional. There are also some wooden benches outside. Pool table, darts and various events advertised. Two of three handpumps in use, offering Black Sheep (£3.60) and Wainwright. However, no sign of a menu any more, and let down with lots of bossy 'house rules' and "We don't tolerate..." signage, and altogether not as good as it looks unfortunately.
