Will bring the update when it opens but walked past it yesterday (14/1/24) and saw the sad state its in. A bit of pub archaeology and I can see it is reopening as an Indian Grill and Bar in Spring '24. Link below.

A warm friendly local bar, more like a clubhouse, really, with accent on sports, particularly RU, soccer and cricket. Sky sports always available.
Speciality restaurant, with high quality fare and extensive menu very well rated in the area. Serge and Jules preside. Need to book well in advance.
