A hotel and pub on the High Street, but clearly its own building in white render and black paintwork, including the ashlar edging stones, with dormer windows. The place also has a beer garden.
The interior is, in general, an open plan L shaped bar/lounge, which ends in another room/area, that being for darts, music and a large screen TV, which wasn't on. The decor is white and wood panel and the places has plenty of old photos and brass ephemera, partiuclarly brass plates. The service was fine, the clientele mixed and the background music easy listening and at a decent level.
Beer; tap stuff with an ok Doombar, Wadsworth 6X and Wickwar Rite Flanker on handpull
All in all, i am only looking at the beer - i did not stop here or try the food. The beer was fine enough and the pub traditional in most part, with a games area to accommodate all need. I was happy to visit and would go back.
