Now renamed "Safari Garden". First impressions are that the new landlord is tryign to shed the old, degenerate image of the pub. Ales are served, but there are still teething troubles, and soem of the staff aren't quite there yet. However, things can only get better, and with enough support from the drinking public (maybe stopping in on the way to Deacons, opposite, is a good start?) we could have another decent pub in the near future.
