Since reopening with a more restaurant angle the back bar of the former pub is very much still a bar and was surprised on my visit today to see it been used very much so by locals rather than a token gesture, although it acts as a holding pen for take-away collections so is actually a shrewd addition to the business, who wouldn't want a sneaky pint while collecting their food.
Bath Gem is available and when ordering a drink complementary prawn crackers and dipping sauce are offered.
