Old Boots left this review about The Victoria
A basic Victorian corner pub, basic as basic can be inside, grey tongue and groove round the walls and cream plain walls above. Bland and bleakly modern, soulless. Basic panelled counter with a group of eight solos somewhat dwarfing and dominating the counter area. Obviously serving nowt unusual. Some new and some battered furniture but on a nice carpet. New windows but plain etched or vinyl covered. Small screens showing music videos which I enjoyed most of anything in this pub experience. Few middle aged male punters in early evening mid week.
