The Lamplighters is a corner pub that is situated on Castlefords main shopping street.
Once inside there is a single oblong shaped room which runs to the rear, the room is carpeted and has comfy bench seating and small stool to the front and down the right side, there were a couple of TVs on,one showing cricket the other horse racing.
No real ales on the bar,so it was a drink of John Smiths Smooth crap which lived up to its name.
A bog standard pub in what looks like a pretty run down town.

Further to Chris's comments Enterprise list this pub as Lamplighters. They might even refurbish it when a new tennent is found.
