Great food but appalling service. If you want to wait over 30 minutes for a sandwich at lunchtime or an hour and 20 minutes for a meal in the evening this is the place for you. Also be prepared, items on the blackboard may not be available! A bit of a shambles and I have to say that between 4 of us, accumulating over 150 years of dining out, this was the worst service ever.

I'M MISSING MY LOCAL.....
I haven't been here for a few months as I now spend most of my time in Hampshire. Always loved the place, the quirky locals, the good food and the characters behind the bar all give it an unforgettable ambience! What a pleasure to pop in and find it even better. Lots has changed, the cooks, the menu, the bar manager, but all the old faces were still there putting the world to rights and the Harveys is as good as ever. Knocks spots of my Hampshire local. Mustn't leave it so long next time!

What a disappointment compared with other local pubs. We were greeted by a surly landlord and the food was over oriced for very indifferent, undressed salads. A place to be avoide and we shall not return.
