Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Sloop
Country dining pub beside the bridge over the River Ouse that was one navigable past this point (and hence the pub's name). The two-part interior has been refurbished recently in a light semi-modern style. The restaurant occupies the larger room, but the smaller bar by the entrance has some general seating (although the tables are obviously also used for those eating, if busy). Large, attractive beer garden on the right-hand side. A couple of Harvey's beers on the three handpumps: Sussex and Old (£6.00).

Attractive rural pub in the heart of the Sussex countryside. Good beer, excellent food and a lovely beer garden.
