A proper, traditional backstreet local which retains two bars. Most of the action seems to take place in what would have been the public bar with pool table etc, while the other bar did not seem well-used with various clutter on some of the tables. Small garden area at the side. The only ale on offer was Doom Bar but at least they had one.

The Lamb Inn is a backstreet local’s boozer that was reasonably busy when I visited on a recent Saturday afternoon. In the right hand side are a pool table and dartboard towards the rear and a plasma screen that was showing Sky Sports. The left hand bar was much quieter, although a football match was about to kick off on BT sports which was being shown on a small projector screen.
I found the service to be very friendly. A standard keg selection was available from the bar that supports two hand pumps that were both drawing Sharp’s Doom Bar. No children under fourteen are permitted at any time.
