Not much has changed since my last visit but I did get a Pale Brummie from Birmingham Brewing company which was good to see.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Vine
Good-looking Vintage Inn, and the sort of reasonable semi-traditional look to the various seating / dining areas that you would expect from this chain (plus a welcome real fire). However, that's where the good points end, with a clearly inadequate number of staff on duty (so I abandoned my plan to eat there and just had a quick Doom Bar (£1.75, half) as the only real ale available from the five handpumps. Perhaps I was just unlucky on the day?

Pretty standard foody pub in the Vintage Inn chain. Nice enough and very friendly service. Doom Bar and Sunbeam on when we called in along with a couple of unused hand pull's. The Sunbeam (£4 a pint) was very good. Worth calling in for one.
