Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Summer House
Traditional-looking pub, given something of a makeover inside but still retaining two bars; the smaller being the main drinking area and the two opened-out rooms behind the other busy as dining areas for those taken by the mostly curry-based menu. Mix of furniture and decor, but lighter than expected. Small decking terrace and a bowling green at the back. Wainwright, Tribute, Proper Job and Enville Ale (£3.50) available from a total of seven handpumps split between the two counters.

Definitely caught this one at the wrong time on our early Saturday eve visit. Service was diabolical and full attention was given to their regulars only. The beer choice wasn't up to much either GK IPA, Enville and Doombar. The side entrance to the pub was also uninspiring what with broken glass and fag butts along the ground. The rear room of the pub was set out for dining and was serving Indian cuisine, everything I saw looked over cooked and burnt up.

Traditional back street local, though on a main road. Wood floors, stools at the bar, back room with bigger tables, altogether a nice boozer, but the smoke does blow in from the bowling green (what is it with bowling greens & pubs around here). Old Wolverhampton pictures on the walls. I would like this as my local.
4 real ales - Adnams, Landlord, Enville and a guest. Beer quality is excellent.
7 1/2 really for this one
