I was a little dubious about calling in here as the majority of the drinkers were on the Carling. However it was a friendly and decent pub, quite a step up from the nearby Royal George. There were two handpumps on the bar serving Mobberley Summit and Bradfield Jack O' Lantern. We went for the Mobberley which was in good shape. Also on the small beer board listed their two upcoming beers, Mobberly IPA and Adnams Ghost Ship.
The interior had oak panelling up to dado height, mid blue painted walls and carpeted throughout.

A corner, end terraced, pub in cream render
The interior of the pub is an L-shaped room around the serving bar that faces you on entry. It is in red and white with some wood panel and a snazzy carpet. One end of the room has a pool table, the other a dart board. There were some sporting photos and old pictures of Willenhall on the walls. The TV had the darts championship on and there was no music to drown it out. The service was fine and the clientele, again, seemingly of locals, was friendly and the place was busy.
Beer; tap stuff with a decent Gray's MILD and Bitter. 5 handpull beers, with Timothy Taylor Landlord, Beartown Santa Claws (very good), Milestone Donna and Blitzen (very good) and Stocking Filler (fine), a 3.8% Burton offering - the brewery not named. The Abbot wasn't on.
Another decent pub and one i would definately return to. A little more a 'town centre' styled pub than the more traditional Castle or the Falcon, but none the less a more than enjoyable visit

They had a sign outside which read
"Cask ale night on Thursdays £1.80 pint".
