This corner detached pub is in light render
The interior is open plan around a central wood bar - i headed for the furthest reaches, a wood panel area, as the quiz was on. The place elsewhere was in like a French mustard and cream colours, with one red wall. There were lots of old photos of Wednesbury and a nice small fireplace in the area i was in. There was a dart board and it serves cheap food, though not to the point of turning every table into an advert for it. Service was fine, the clientele mixed and it was busy enough.
Beer; tap stuff, with Banks's MILD and Pedigree and an ok-ish Timothy Taylor Landlord on handpull.
The place had the feeling of a pubco place, but not to nausea. It seemed a happy enough place, it did do real ale, though i was not overly impressed, but i would try it again, though perhaps not on quiz night being the miserable bloke i am.
This pub has re-opened now: review to follow - when i get chance to visit!
