A fantastic early to mid-20th cent style detached brick pub. The Interior has two rooms. The room we were in had a small stage, rock memorabilia and a strange pinky décor. The small clientele was mature. Service was friendly, even when we turned around and left as there was simply nothing on other than basic tap tosh. There was no real ale, there was no keg MILD – as the nice lady said “we’re a Carlin’ pub, lads”. So, not our kind of drinks. I can’t say don’t go, unless you are a real ale drinker. Try it and see.
