A decent good sized pub which was quite busy on our Thursday evening visit. The interior was slightly upmarket and had a interior designer feel about it with large candles on the window sills, tassle hanging lampshades, wallpapered wall sections and the lounge areas carpeted throughout. The bar was solid oak with sage green painted front panels. Luckily for us they have a £1 off all cask ales Mon-Fri. Four ales on handpump, Hadrian Border Farne Island, Broughton Hopo IPA, Doombar and Ghost Ship. I went for the Ghost Ship which was in excellent condition.

Large Ember Inn with plenty people in just for a drink. 5 ales on - Doom Bar, Tribute, Ubu, Twilighter IPA and a Christmas beer. We went for the Twilighter which was fine. We had just got soaked walking from the train station so the fire was very welcome! Happy to call in again.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Colebrook
Imposing suburban inn, with a bold but appealing brick façade. As an Ember Inn, the partially opened-out interior has a mixture of seating / dining areas, all with tidy, semi-modern furniture and generally light decor. There are a number of wooden tables out front plus a fair-sized beer garden on the low patio terrace at the back. I found five real ales - Ember (Black Sheep) Pale (£3.00), Sharp's Atlantic, London Pride, Tribute and Purity Pure UBU - and Old Rosie cider available from the two banks of five handpumps.
