Soup Dragon left this review about The George Inn
A detached unrendered brick built Banks's corner pub
The interior is open plan, and the decpr is white, a clay colour and wood panel. The pictures and ephemera are sports related; including all the local teams, Wolves, Baggies, Villa and Blues, with lots of trophies. There is a pool table and dartboard and a number of Sky TVs. The service was fine, the clientele mature and friendly.
Beer; tap stuff with Banks's Bitter and an OK MILD on handpull.
I am happy enough to have visited, but it is a fairly basic place compared to the Jolly Collier around the corner.
