A pub that I not visited before but it seems that the pub closed in February 2023 and after receiving a refurb opened again in January this year. Still open plan so I would imagine that most things are still in the same place, except maybe the bar. Maybe someone local can give confirm. I read that real ale was the name of the game now with six hand pulls on the bar.A decent selection of mainly 'Midlands' beers ,but I tried the Abbeydale Deception which was in good nick. A good selection of cobs/buns/baps were available when I visited. Call there if you are in the area.

A two-tone, half yellow and half something else, its too dark to tell, detached pub.
The interior is technically open plan, with three areas. A back area in white and wood panel, with wood floor, with a punchbag machine and Sky TV, with a few bed pans on the wall and bits of crockery for decoration. The small middle area had sofas and carpet and the larger bar area was in red and white, with wood panel, carpet and central roof beam. There was a nice brick and stone fireplace, giving some pedigree to the experience of visiting the place. There were two painings on the walls by Ron Baker, one of Ruiton Mill, the other Sedgley Manor House. Service was fine the locals friendly enough
Beer; all tap stuff and not even a MILD - ironic, as it advertises quality ales outside. I had a John Smith shandy as i was dying of thirst after playing footy.
Apart from the fireplace, there is nothing to call me to return

This pub is in the middle of sedgley and it is painted in two different colours thee upper half looks cream and the lower half looked blueish.
Once inside i was dissapointed the pub had been opened out and there were no real ales on the bar and the only bitter was John Smiths smooth crap so i had a Guinness which was ok.
