Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The York

Large pub, previously food-led if the remnant external signage is to be believed but they were operating 'cash only' and offering a limited £5.99 menu from a chalkboard when I visited. The 'L'-shaped interior layout has been partly opened-out and comprehensively refurbished with semi-modern furniture at some stage, but is now starting to look worn in places. The wooden furniture on the front and side patio areas and in the rear beer garden has seen better days too. No real ale available, so I went for the bargain M&B Mild (£2.50).

Large, white rendered roadside inn, paart of the Sizzling Chain.

Its comfortable, with various seating areas in various styles, sofas, arm chairs, 'pub' chairs. Neat and tidy, but all a little pradictable and safe.

Very close to Hall Green dog track.

One real ale, Marstons EPA, nothing spectacular at all.

Nice, just needs a bit of drive from the management
