First visit since it reopened in 2024 (or maybe 2025). The horrible massive sign on the roof has been replaced. Apart from that, not much changed. Much bigger in than you would expect, with a long narrow front room, with a bar running alongside. A covered area outside and then a wonderful pub garden with a massive screen for the football.
I actually missed the two cask on... which were at the end of the bar nearest the door. No worries, I enjoyed a Budvar, in its ceremonial chalice.

A peculiar pub; the front bar was in darkness but looked fairly plain, while down a short passageway the rear 'lounge' was not very loungey, with bare floors, plain tables and rather dim lighting, brightened a little by an arty mosiac down the wall. At the back is a large outdoor area including a big covered patio strung with fairylights. Just the one cask ale on offer in the shape of an acceptable HPA, with a few craft keg from Laines also. A sign on the unimpressive black-painted exterior describes this pub as a major entertainment venue, so perhaps it comes to life in the evenings, but mid-afternoon it was not great.

Another good Jewellery Quarter pub with a choice of ales. I didn't eat but the breakfast served looked very good - I will give one a go another time!
