Food oriented market street pub, much as described by the previous reviewer, except for the pool table, the dart board and the chatty landlord. Unicorn and Dizzy Blonde joined on the bar by Tom & Berry for the festive season. I'd have been tempted by the full fat version of Old Tom, but in its absence I had the Unicorn, which was fine (NBSS 3). Not really my sort of pub, but good enough of its type.

A typical Robbies tied house. Multi roomed but opened out although there is a separate room with a huge TV and a bar hatch to the right as you enter. In the main room there's a pool table and a dartboard with a beer garden to the rear. Looks like it may have had a refurb in the last year or two. Friendly landlord behind the bar who was up for a chat early on a Friday evening. Three handpumps with Unicorn on one and Dizzy Blonde on the other two. One of the best pints of Dizzy I've had for some time, even though I don't like Robbies beers. A good, solid local.

Nice friendly pub in the shopping area. A Robinsons House had a good pint of Unicorn will call back
