Nick Davies left this review about The Peacock
Traditional Cotswold stone village pub, public bar with pool table to the right, best room to the left, beams, fireplace, usual stuff, and an area that doubles as a Chinese restaurant/takeaway further on. I say traditional, there aren't many left round here, too many with celebrity chefs, all tables laid up, like the other Peacock down the road. Anyway, none of that here, and all the better for it.
Routine pubco beers, Adnams Best, Fortyniner, Tribute when we called, but as it was 32C opted for eurofizz in the garden out the back. Open all day weekends, well worth a look.
