Definitely a locals pub this one.
The service and the locals were friendly. No ale so a quick bottle of lager did the job while we had a game of darts.
No real reason to return for me though.

After a period of closure the Foresters Arms has reopened, it looks very much like a change of tenant rather than a refurbishment. The bar area at the front has a serving counter up the left and a couple of tables to the right area that are overlooked by a television that was showing a football match via Sky Sports. Steps towards the rear lead down to a pool table and a dartboard. The split-level layout makes this pub seem quite compact, it wouldn’t take too many locals from the adjacent estate to fill this place up. Limited keg was available alongside Madri and a lone hand pump that was drawing Sharp’s Doom Bar. The boisterous locals were all on lager so I decided to join them. This isn’t a pub anyone would go out of their way to visit.

Standard issue pub. Its not a bad place but there is nothing of interest here, including the beers. I didn't notice any strong odours except, possibly, my after shave. No real ale so standard fizz-u-likes.
