Not really to my taste but I can't quibble about the way this pub has been presented, despite the Wedgwood blue paint on the exterior walls. Once inside there's an attempt to make a pleasant room with bare boards on the floors except around the bar where there are tiles. Different areas have slightly different feels to them, although the pub is not big. It's aimed towards the dining-out-with-the-family-at-the-weekend market, but there are three hand pumps on the bar for those of us who prefer a beer. At the time of my visit these were offering the not-to-my-taste Sharps Atlantic plus a house beer of unspecified origin, Beggars Bridge Ale. So, definitely not a destination venue for beer lovers, but not a bad place in itself.
