The Talbot was a stand alone pub that was painted white, the pub was one of two pubs on commercial street both now demolished.
The pub was fairly close to Newton train station and was one of four pubs in this area of Hyde.
Once inside the pub had two rooms i had a drink in the bar which was fairly basic but still a decent enough room, the pub had Centric signs outside which was always a bad sign to see so i was'nt surprised to see only keg beers on the bar i had a drink of keg Theakston best which was pretty crap.
Like a lot of other pubs in this area of Hyde this one has been pulled down and i think there are now flats on its site.
