The Grapes is a large old three storey pub that is situated on a bend on the busy stockport road, the pub is also at the bottom of a very steep hill taking you to Werneth Low which is well worth the walk for the views over South Manchester and the Cheshire Plain,i would advise having a drink in the Grapes before going up that hill.
Once inside this pub had three rooms,i had a drink in a smart lounge which was very comfortable, this pub is a Robinsons tied house and there were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Robinsons bitter which was a very nice drink the other beers were Robinsons mild and Old Tom which was in a small barrel on the bar.
This was a really nice pub that i was quite quite happy having a drink in.
