Well it was an unspoilt backstreet locals' pub at time of visit, with a strong emphasis on sport, however plans for refurbishing it were being discussed while we were there so it remains to be seen what it will become. One fairly bare room with a pool table on the way in, a couple of large TV screens, and garden areas behind. Beers from Shepherd Neame were in good nick.

A single L-shaped boarded room with the bar in the inner corner, there is a low faux beamed ceiling and chocolate coloured lower walls, a fireplace had a chalkboard in front but no one would be needing a fire on a hot day. Décor was a bit limited, there were a few pictures of vans and buses, most to do with the pub's Shepherd Neame brewery, but otherwise the pub felt a bit Spartan, especially after the nearby William Cobbett where there is all sorts going on, décor-wise. There is a TV and pool table. The best aspect of this pub has to be the two tier rear garden with the upper deck perched at roof level, this is where most punters were on Saturday evening.
Food is clearly served as the kitchen can be seen but no activity on this visit.
The service was friendly and chatty however and the SN beers were what they always are, I can take them or leave them, they had Spitfire, Kent's Best and Whitstable on.

A good pub serving Shepherd Neame beers which have always been in top form on my visits.Three or four Sheps beers available a bit on the expensive side at £3.60 a pint regardless of strength.A rather open and sparsely decorated interior,a pool table to the rear, however when there's a few people in there is a decent buzz about the place, another recommended pub for Farnham.
