The Prince of Wales is the sole remaining pub in Westcott. It sits on a bank with car park accessed by (indoor) steps leading down to it from the pub. There are rooms to the front and rear. The front room is the bar and features a pool table on the right-hand side with a large screen TV showing snooker. There was a second smaller TV on the other side of the room. This room has bare boards. Flowers on each table give it a nice touch.

An entrance corridor leads to more of a dining room at the rear, with the corridor itself containing a fruit machine. Tables to the front of the pub have some rattan furniture, whilst there is a sizeable garden area to the left-hand side of the pub.

As with most of the pubs we tried on this visit to Surrey, the cask ale range was disappointing. With 5 handpulls, 2 were clipped with the regular beer London Pride. A third had Shere Drop, with the other 2 unused. There was also no draught cider. A font for Reveller had a glass over it.

Food was being served in the rear room and we did see that a 2-course Sunday roast would set you back £22. Events promoted included live music every other Saturday and a psychic night. Dogs are allowed in (perhaps even to the psychic night).

Nice place, but poor beer range and no draft cider.
