Old skool pub with old skool regulars and big dogs. Two ales on - my pint of Adnams Bitter was good, if a little cold. Other choice was Greene King IPA. The interior is a single bar with dark wood and nicotine-coloured paintwork. Dartboard was available as well as a dodgy quizzer which took our money for no return. Live music advertised at weekends. If you’re near the train station and need a pint, you could do worse.
