Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Centurion
Table Table pub / restaurant adjacent to a Premier Inn on the eastern edge of Wilnecote. Usual anonymous, semi-modern furniture and decor in the various seating / dining areas of course, so this is a distinctly functional place to visit. Just Doom Bar (£4.25) from the pair of handpumps, but at least a real ale is available, and this was actually in reasonable shape.

Situated close to the M42 and A5 bypass, the Centurion is furnished more like a hotel bar rather than a pub.
Decent Pedigree and chilled lagers food is tasy and is the usual Brewers Fayre range. If you need accomodation there is a Premier Inn next door.

If you previously visited this pub and sampled the food you probably wouldnt want to return,. HOWEVER - the pub has recently been re-furbished (2007) and is under new management. The decor is quite modern and stylish. The food is very good (mainly English good-pub grub menu) and there is seating outside for summer evenings. The staff are friendly and helpful. You are not able to book a table unless you are in a large group and it can get busy at peak times. We are off there this evening again for a meal and really looking forward to it. I would definietly recommend this pub to anyone who wants a comfortable evening out in pleasant, modern surroundings.
