A detached and massive modern estate pub with patio area.

The interior had three rooms; a function room, lounge and a bar. The function room and lounge i could not see from the bar - this place is very large! The bar is sandwiched between the two and is half in red and the other half, in mustard. There is a dart board and a TV, which had the football on. There was general music at a quiet level. The service was fine and the clientele, well, friendly locals that all know each other. There is a board behind the bar saying 'West Way, heart of the community' and it is - the ladies dart team were in, hence i stayed in the bar! There was nothing much in the way of pictures on the walls. This is a functional place, nothing aesthetically pleasing about it, but it is clearly what it claims to be.

Beer; all keg, no real ale, with a decent Ansell's MILD

Nothing for the real ale drinker and not everyone's cup of tea, but i enjoyed my beer here.
