A detached cottage styled pub in cream render with black paint work
The interior is a single open plan room with the wood panelled serving bar at the far end of the pub, facing you. The decor is a simple yellow and red, with white ceiling, patterned carpet and a few fake beams and a brick fireplace - the fire wasn't lit. There is a pool table and a dart board, with a TV showing MTV and another not on. The music was supplied via the telly, though there is a jukebox. There was footy memorabilia on the walls and a big wooden bear for interest. The service was really friendly and the clientele was me and another bloke. The do live music and karaokes.
Beer; tap stuff with Bombardier, Spekky Hen, Courage Directors and a decent Jennings Snecklifter on handpull
A good solid little pub. Fine for a game of pool, or chuck at the board while quaffing a pint. Worthy of popping in for one.
