The Old Royal Oak is a decent looking pub that is just outside the town centre.
Once inside here there was one longish room that ran across the front area of the pub this room seemed a bit dark and dowdy but was comfortable enough with bench seats and small stools.
There were three real ales on here i had a drink of Marstons bitter which was a decent drink the other beers were Jennings Cumberland and Theakston Old Peculiar.
There was also a few tables at the front to watch the traffic go by.
