Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Riverside Hotel
Chef & Brewer pub / restaurant beside the eponymous hotel, with the expected anonymous semi-modern furniture and decoration in the various seating / dining areas around the bar. Apparently, it it is well positioned beside the River Trent and has nicely landscaped grounds, but it was way too dark to see any of that when I visited (although the rear patio beer garden and shelters were visible). Unsurprisingly, as a Greene King brand, IPA (£4.20) and Abbot available from two of the four handpumps.
