Strongers . left this review about The Pelham
The Pelham is a large sprawling pub with a U-shaped central bar counter that supports standard keg alongside Madri. Split-level seating is found at either end of the pub with the addition of a dartboard and test your strength boxing machine at one end and a pool table at the other. In the centre of the pub is a DJ booth with laminate dance floor for the weekends. Television are found throughout for the advertised live sport, but these were all off in favour of some background music supplied by a jukebox that the polite barmaid kept putting money into. There are plenty of drink deals so I expect at the weekend there are more than just the three locals who were sat at the bar. Out the front is a large paved area full of picnic tables found next to a large car park. Nobody is going to travel to visit here, but with two of the other four pubs in town being closed on the afternoon of my visit there’s little choice for locals.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Pelham
Located a short distance beyond the shopping square, this looks like a large estate pub but it also operates as a hotel and has a range of food offers. Tidy enough, but the various seating / dining areas have slightly dated-looking furniture and decor despite what looks like a recent refurbishment. Plenty of wooden benches out on the front patio. Two handpumps, both with Doom Bar clips, but no real ale available when I stopped by so went for the Worthington Smoothflow (£2.70).
