A traditional village local in a Georgian house, refurbished in recent years. There is a small parking area at the front adjacent to the road, and the garden is also small and includes a smoking area. The two original bars remain, a lounge bar, and a public bar. There is a dartboard, TV screen and gaming machines, basic décor and a warm welcome from the landlord. The pub has a skittle alley and is very active in hosting matches. Food looked pretty basic, but it was reasonably priced; I can't comment on the quality as we didn't eat. Only one ale on, Doombar, which was in average condition. A decent, basic pub, I'd be happy to come back when in the area.

Recently reopened by new owners who have encouraged the locals back. Has a team in the local skittle league. Only one ale at the moment.
