Another good pub in Porlock. The service was extremely friendly and we were made to feel welcome. 2 ales on - Doom Bar and Tribute. The Tribute was excellent. Pool table and Dart board. Well worth calling in.

2nd of 3 pubs in Porlock.

Two real ales on - Courage and Doom Bar - which was in wonderful condition.

Sunday Lunch is decent.

Best bit around it was a pool table (50p) with plenty of place to pay and a really good jukebox. We commandeered both on a blustery March night.

Recommended.

A rather quaint old fashioned pub in the High street, dated decor but not lacking charm. Fairly busy with both locals and visitors on Sunday Lunchtime in early January during our visit. There is a main bar to the left with a family/eating area at the back and a small snug to the right.

Four real ales, Rev James, Bath Gem, Courage Best and the ever present Doom Bar; the bath Gem was fine.

Bar staff welcomed our (fairly) well behaved kids and we sat in a pleasant family area at the back. Pool and darts available; they appear to have teams in leagues.

All in all, not a bad little pub, I would recommend a visit
