Oggwyn Great left this review about Park Hotel
Pub is as described below , pretty traditional with lot of dark wood , above the bar is some stained glass and horsebrasses , three ales on , Bombadier , London Pride and Three Tun 1642 which i had , it was OK . This is a locals pub OK for a quick one but there are much better pubs around town(and much much worse)

This is a three roomed pub with a large garden that is a real suntrap. The room to the far left has a pool table and a dartboard. The middle room has a decent fireplace and a large table in the window along with some smaller tables and chairs. The right hand room is mainly a standing up area with another dartboard and a quiz machine, although there are some settees around the fireplace. If you sit in one of these seats everyone will be watching you though as the large screen TV is directly above the fireplace. There are three handpumps on the bar serving Pedigree, Bombardier and London Pride, so not the most inventive of selections. I had a pint of the Pride which was OK but not totally top notch. It’s a nice enough place for one.
