The Market Tavern is a thin Craft Union corner pub with banquette seating at the front and rear either side of the bar that runs up the left wall facing a few high tables to the right. Televisions are located throughout for showing live football, which had finished before my visit so some background music was playing. Standard keg was available alongside Birra Moretti and Camden Pale. The service was polite and the other customers harmless enough, but I don’t plan on revisiting.

Once you get pas the smokers blocking the doors you will find a common or garden pub. Real ale was available but not on this day. A kind of L-shaped interior. Its ok but not great.
