A well supported locals pub, that is traditional in style and hosts a welcoming open log fire in the bar and another open fire in the snug, found on the right of entrance. The snug had Jacobean panelled walls and bench seating. If you walk along a corridor behind the bar area, you will find a good sized lounge area which is served from the far end of the mid section bar. This lounge area was also traditional in décor and a quiet haven to relax in compared to the busier main bar area, at the entrance. Four ales on pump serving, Sharps Sea Fury, Bass, Hobgoblin and Shropshire Gold. The pub was also quite busy with people having a hearty meal, which the pub has a good reputation for.

The Greyhound Inn is a nice looking old pub that is situated in the middle of the Penkhull area of Stoke, the pub is in a nice setting opposite the church.
Once inside the pub had two seperate rooms,i went in the lounge which was to the right, this was a really nice room with a real fire on the go,there were a couple of small rooms off this to the right which also looked nice, there were a few old pew seats and some normal tables and chairs, the bar was to the left, this was a smaller room and was packed with Stoke fans watching them play Chelsea.
There were four real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Pedigree which was a very nice drink, the other beers were Sharpes Doom Bar,Hobgoblin and Bombardier.
There was some decent music playing in the backgound.
This was a really pleasant pub to have a drink in.
