De Trafford Arms is an L-shaped Chef & Brewer pub that was empty, apart from myself and one other customer, during a recent Monday evening visit. Old worn tiles, carpet and parquet flooring run throughout and the décor is rustic with lots of small seating area, including raised areas to the right and right rear. In the left-hand side of the pub is a large dining area. There was some background music playing and a television in the bar area was playing muted rolling news. Premium keg was available and the four hand pumps were drawing Greene King IPA and Old Speckled Hen alongside Caledonian’s Deuchars. The barmaid was very friendly, but I’ll probably walk past next time.
