This pub was originally called the Globe and when i went in here it was called the Market Inn it was probably named that because it is on the market place.
Once inside there was one room that was fairly basic and the pub had a rough edge to it.
There was only one real ale on the bar this was John Smiths bitter which was on handpump and this was a decent drink.
The pub probably got its present name from the type of clientele who frequent the place.
