The Globe was very busy when we went in on 22 May 2010 saturday afternoon,the bar faces you as you enter the pub there was the usuall Elgoods range on as this is an Elgoods tied house it was busy with locals drinking beer or lager and i could'nt see any sign of food being served which did'nt bother me, we had a chat with the friendly landlord who was an expert on the Elgoods tied estate he was also a Nottingham Forest fan which went down very well with me and my brother,the pub is a bit basic but i was quite happy here and would have happily stayed for another drink.
