A pub that serves food as proudly acclaimed from the A-boards outside, this is rectangular-shaped now opened up internally with the bar facing you upon entry. The bar proffered Charles Wells Eagle IPA, Doom Bar and Purity Pure Gold - the latter in decent enough shape. Despite the emphasis on the dry stuff and the amount of people eating, not all tables are laid out for dining which is pleasing and the staff were efficient and courteous.
