This 'pub' is, in essence, an Indian restaurant, and despite menus within the establishment referring to the place to be 'The Spice Room Indian Restaurant and Bakers Arms Public House', there's precious little here from a public house point-of-view. A solitary handpump declares Doom Bar, but I was informed this had 'run out', although the same beer was available in bottled form. With all tables set for diners, there were three padded leather armchairs opposite the small bar, set up as they would be in any Indian restaurant, for those waiting to collect a takeaway, so with just one couple eating and four attendant staff, made for a slightly uncomfortable sojourn. Despite it retaining The Bakers Arms name (of sorts), I'd find it difficult to justify recommending or revisiting this one.
