The White Horse was a decent looking pub with the lower half having green tiles which looked quite nice, the pub was at the bottom end of ilkeston road.
Once inside the pub had a couple of rooms and i have usually had a drink in the bar which was quite a nice room,i have played table skittles here on a few occasions because this pub was in the Ilkeston table skittle league.
The pub was a Shipstones tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i usually had a drink of Shipstones bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Shipstones mild.
I quite liked this pub but it has now sadly closed down, the pub has still got all of its signs outside but it is now being used as a cafe.
