Alan Winfield left this review about The Radford Arms
The Radford Arms was situated in the middle of the hyson green shopping area.
The pub had one longish narrow room with the bar to the right, this was the main pub in the area for the afro-carribean community and whenever i have been in here it was busy.
This pub used to be an Ind Coope house and when i first went in this pub there were two real ales on the bar and the Ind Coope bitter was a decent drink the other beer was Ind Coope Burton bitter.
I have been in this pub quite a few times over the years and it always had a rough edge to it,sadly this pub has now closed down and it is now a restaurant and takeaway.
